PJ has the appointment of Chair in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery in Adelaide. This is a joint appointment between The University of Adelaide and Flinders University and as such allows ENT research to be co-ordinated across the State. PJ’s clinical and research interest is endoscopic sinus surgery and the anatomy of the sinuses.

Dr Eng Ooi is a rhinologist and head and neck surgeon practising at Flinders Private Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre with a senior lecturer position at Flinders University. Dr Ooi completed his Otolaryngology training in Adelaide and was awarded a PhD for his thesis on innate immunity in Chronic rhinosinusitis. Dr Ooi completed an international rhinology fellowship with the University of Toronto before returning to Adelaide to practice. He has a special interest in advanced endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery.

Robert Briggs is an Otolaryngologist with a clinical practice and research specializing in Otology, Neurotology and Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. His current appointments are Clinical Associate Professor in the University of Melbourne Department of Otolaryngology, Head of Otology and Medical Director of the Cochlear Implant Clinic at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, as well as Senior Fellow in the Department of Surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Richard currently works as a dedicated rhinologist (nose, sinus, allergy and endoscopic surgeon) at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney. Richard specialises in nasal and sinus disorders, with interests difficult to treat sinus disease and endoscopic surgery of the skull base. Richard is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Australasian Society of Clinical Immunologists and Allergists, American and Australian Rhinologic societies and the Australian Society of Otolaryngologists/Head Neck Surgeons. He has authored over 100 publications, abstracts and book chapters. He currently sits on the editorial board for Rhinology journal and is Associate Editor for the American Journal of Rhinology and Allergy.
